Replacement Water Filters for Boiling Water Appliances
Choosing a replacement water filter for your boiling water appliance should be pretty straightforward because you just need to find the same model number below as you currently have fitted.
However, there are a few factors you may wish to consider which may save you a considerable amount of money:
The first is that you may want to consider a 'compatible' filter, i.e. one made by someone other than the original manufacturer of your boiling water appliance - these are typically much cheaper, and we don't hear any complaints about the quality from our customers.
The second is that, for taste and odour filters, there are sometimes alternative filters which have a larger micron size specification but are considerably cheaper. In practice, unless you have a very unusual application, it is unlikely you will notice much difference between these different levels of filtration, and they are certainly worth a try if you are looking for ways to save money.
And finally, some filters are available as twin packs, which give you a further price reduction.
