We’re more than excited to now offer the full range of Aqua Libra taps to our portfolio of commercial boiling water taps, making Electrical Deals Direct the foremost supplier of commercial boiling water appliances in the UK. This brand is part of the Britvic family, renowned as hydration specialists worldwide.

As detailed in other articles, the Aqua Libra taps have some great features that other suppliers don’t offer, including an unrivalled purification and filtration process that totally eliminates limescale issues, touch-screen technology and a twin tank system capable of dispensing far higher volumes than all the competition.

So, what are the choices when it comes to the type of water you would like dispensed? Let's look first at the Aqua illi range:

  • Boiling only: dispenses up to 100 degree Celsius filtered water for hot beverages.
  • Boiling & Ambient: as above, with the addition of cold (not chilled) filtered drinking water.
  • Boiling, Chilled & Ambient: as above, but with the addition of chilled filtered water on tap.
  • Boiling, Chilled & Sparkling: carbonated chilled filtered water replaces the ambient option.
  • Chilled & Ambient: no boiling water, just chilled and room temperature filtered drinking water.

There are options for how these taps are mounted: they can be placed close to an existing sink, or the optional drip tray/font allows you to mount the tap through a work surface. This drip tray also drains to the waste. The latter is generally the popular choice as it gives the tap the feel of an appliance. There are also extensions available to extend the dispensing height for taller jugs, flasks and bottles.

All these stylish taps are available in either polished chrome or satin black, and each variant comes in either ‘standard’ capacity (which is very high!) or, on request, ‘ultra-high’ capacity for exceptionally high demand environments.

The other range offered is the Aqua Alto taps.

These are individual taps for different types of water: one for boiling, one for chilled and one for sparkling chilled. These can all be used simultaneously  using one single undersink base unit. In our opinion the Aqua Alto taps are very much aimed at the funkier more stylish kitchens and canteens, and they're available in pretty much any colour you like! This singular type of dispense approach also cuts down on queues for drinks as the user is not waiting around for the use of one multi-function tap. These taps are designed for use over their own drip trays rather than a sink of course.

All in all, it is quite clear that the Aqua Libra range of beverage water taps offer a great deal more than rival products. There is no doubt that a massive amount of thought has gone into solving issues that have caused problems with this type of product for years.

We can arrange a visit and a demonstration of these products in most parts of the country, and we also offer (and recommend) expert installation at a very competitive price.
