Our Expert's Opinion
"Definitely the brand leader, and it has built-in expansion. You may want to also consider some of the cheaper ranges."Heatrae Sadia Megaflo Eco Solar 190SI Indirect Unvented Cylinder
The Megaflo Eco Solar 190SI is a 190 litre indirect unvented hot water cylinder from Heatrae Sadia's Megaflo Eco range, designed to work with a solar thermal system. It delivers mains pressure hot water for fast-filling baths and powerful showers while using the sun to keep running costs down.
How it works
A large 1.1m² solar coil in the lower part of the cylinder heats 70 litres of dedicated solar storage from your solar collectors (flat plate panels or evacuated tubes, available separately). Top-up heating comes from a second coil connected to your boiler, so the boiler tops up the upper part of the cylinder when the sun cannot meet demand.
Warranty
Heatrae Sadia's Megaflo warranty covers the stainless steel inner tank against corrosion for 30 years in domestic properties and all other components for 2 years, provided the cylinder is registered with Heatrae Sadia within 60 days of installation and serviced annually.
