Our Expert's Opinion
"Megaflo quality and internal expansion for less than the Eco. A sensible choice off the gas grid; step up to the Eco for the 30-year tank warranty."Heatrae Sadia Megaflo Essential 300 Litre Direct Unvented Hot Water Cylinder
The Megaflo Essential Direct is heated electrically by two 3kW immersion heaters, so it needs no boiler and suits homes off the gas grid. This 300 litre model stores 279 litres of mains-pressure hot water in a stainless steel tank with 50mm of polyurethane foam insulation.
Megaflo Essential or Megaflo Eco?
Megaflo Essential is the value range in the Megaflo family. It keeps Megaflo's internal expansion, so there is no separate expansion vessel to fit. The premium Megaflo Eco adds 60mm of insulation instead of 50mm and a 30-year tank warranty instead of 20.
