Our Expert's Opinion
"Megaflo's internal expansion and a coil-in-coil heat exchanger for less than the Eco. Step up to the Eco for thicker insulation and a 30-year tank warranty."Heatrae Sadia Megaflo Essential 300 Litre Indirect Unvented Hot Water Cylinder
The Megaflo Essential Indirect is designed for system and heat-only boilers. Its coil-in-coil heat exchanger heats this 300 litre model's 276 litres of mains-pressure hot water from cold in about 65 minutes, and a 3kW immersion heater is fitted as backup. The stainless steel tank has 50mm of polyurethane foam insulation.
Megaflo Essential or Megaflo Eco?
Megaflo Essential is the value range in the Megaflo family. It keeps Megaflo's internal expansion, so there is no separate expansion vessel to fit. The premium Megaflo Eco adds 60mm of insulation instead of 50mm and a 30-year tank warranty instead of 20.
