A warranty of more than 2 years is genuinely worth having in the right situation.
Newer dryers on the market are increasingly offering longer warranties as standard. But that cover isn't free: a strong warranty can add a fair bit to the price, and in some cases nearly double the cost of the unit.
Here's the thing, though - modern hand dryers are very reliable. If you're buying for a lower or medium traffic washroom, paying extra for a longer warranty often isn't the best use of your budget.
It's a different story for high-traffic areas, where a breakdown means real disruption. There, the extra warranty cover can easily pay for itself.
