So you’ve had your Dyson Airblade hand dryer for a while now and you would like to replace the HEPA filter.

There is more than one type of Dyson Airblade HEPA filter so do check through this article to make sure you order the right one.

This HEPA filter is responsible for keeping your washroom as bacteria free as possible by filtering the air discharged during drying to an enormous extent.

These HEPA filters typically require changing after 700,000 cycles, but it’s a good idea to check their condition at least annually, and if at any point you feel the dryer is losing some power, the filter is the first thing to change.

Genuine Dyson replacement HEPA filters and filter kits are not as expensive as you might imagine, but it’s important to get the correct one for your machine, so this article should help steer you to the right one for your hand dryers.

HEPA Filters for the ‘Hands in’ Dryers

The original hands in style of Airblade was launched back in 2006, and the first 2 models, the AB01 and the AB03 were available between 2006 and 2012. These both use the first Airblade HEPA filter which is the 910112-04.

In 2013 the AB07 came along (known as the Airblade Mk11) followed in 2016 by the AB14, soon to be the ‘Airblade dB’. These models use the 92985-02 HEPA filter.

This filter is also available complete with the removal tool, for those customers who on the slightest off chance failed to put it in a safe place when the hand dryer was originally unpacked!

(That tool is also available on its own)

HEPA filters for the ‘Hands Under’ Dryers

The original version of the Dyson Airblade V was the AB08, launched in 2013, which became the AB12 and at the point of writing this article is known as the HU02, a quieter version of the same dryer. These all take the same Dyson Airblade HEPA filter, which is the 965280-01. These are sold as a pair.
